Freelance 3d VFX generalist

I have 12 years’ experience working as a 3D Generalist on VFX for TV, advertising and film.

My skillset includes modelling, tracking, animation, Softimage ICE simulation systems, lighting and rendering using Arnold, Redshift and Mantra. I am proficient in Softimage, Terragen, Mudbox and PFTrack, capable in Maya and in the process of learning Houdini.

In September 2018, The Alienist – “The Boy On The Bridge”, a show I’d contributed many textured 3D models to, won the Emmy for Outstanding Special Visual Effects In a Supporting Role.

In October 2012, an ident I worked on for CCTV-9 was part of a series that won a Promax BDA Asia Gold Award for Best On-Air Channel Branding.

In June 2009, BBC iScience, an educational project I contributed all 25 CG shots to, won the Royal Television Society award for Best Television Program for Schools.
