What services do you provide? | |||
|
I provide 3d animation, texturing and modelling services including character work. My graphics have illustrated new product design concepts, enhancing sales pitches and presentations. They have been used in effects shots for documentaries, animated idents, and visualisations. I either work from home or in house at your studio, depending on your needs. | |||
Do you have a day rate? | |||
|
Yes. It varies between £120 and £175 depending on the length of the project and the location, the latter being London on the shorter contracts. | |||
Where are you based? | |||
|
Tonbridge, Kent, England. It's about an hour for me to get into the Soho area of London. I have done long distance work via the web so don't let that put you off. One of my first clients was in Sydney. | |||
How much will my project cost? | |||
|
Before contacting me, please consider the following pointers. What is going to move, if anything? Why? Do you want characters? If so, do they need to speak and/or make strong facial expressions? What dimensions will the end format be in? Please provide as much graphical reference as possible, be it concept art, storyboards for animation, photos, artists of a certain nature, photographs or any other media. If it's for a website, please provide a link. | |||
Do you record your own sound? | |||

I do not do sound. I am not a sound producer by even the loosest meaning! | |||
So do you do 2d animation? I have this logo... | |||

Feel free to throw Flash logo animations in my direction as they're quite fun to work with, but don't ask me to make the next Roger Rabbit. | |||
What programs do you use? | |||
|
I use Softimage XSI but have used 3d Studio MAX in the past. For texturing I use The GIMP or Photoshop, and compositing is tackled in After Effects. | |||
Is your website up to date? | |||
|
Now that I am using the cgsociety portfolio, it's much more up to date than ever, thanks to the ease of use that the portfolio brings. | |||
